Morris and Watson Limited (Ltd) is a fourth-generation family owned precious metal services company established in 1928, ordering customers high quality bullion, refining, fabrication, CAD/CAM, casting, and chain with trusted service.
Head office operates from an extensive factory based in Auckland New Zealand with other sites located in Brisbane and Sydney Australia and Bangkok Thailand. The company currently employs over 100 personnel across the four locations. Morris and Watson Ltd is a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) because it values transparency, integrity, and accountability in business.
The RJC is an internationally recognised organisation established to advance ethical supply chain standards within the jewellery industry. The RJC strives to maintain high standards of responsible, ethical, social and environmental practices throughout the gold, silver, platinum group metals, diamond, and coloured gemstone jewellery supply chain.
The RJC has developed a benchmark standard for the jewellery supply chain and credible mechanisms for verifying responsible business practices through third-party auditing.
As an RJC member, Morris and Watson Ltd endeavours to operate its business in accordance with the RJC Code of Practices. Committing to integrate ethical, human rights, social and environmental considerations into day-to-day operations, business planning activities and decision-making processes.
Working alongside the jewellery and precious metals industries since 1928, safe working environments, fair work and responsible sourcing have always been significant business foundations for Morris and Watson Ltd.
Becoming a member of the of the RJC allows Morris and Watson Ltd to formally recognise and develop the responsible business practices already implemented within the business through a credible industry body.
