Chenier or TubeChenier or Tube is hollow, cylindrical or square lengths of metal. Chenier or Tube is most commonly used for hand made settings but can also be used in various applications such as sleeves, hollow earrings, washers or items which require a hollow inside. Chenier or Tube is generally fabricated in a continuous casting machine, which results in a final product that has a long and continuous length. This continuous casting process also creates a seamless finish which results in a stronger and more aesthetically pleasing product. Morris and Watson can supply Chenier or Tube in the sizes shown in the table below, in Sterling Silver only. Most sizes are supplied as cylindrical in shape, with a select range of sizes available square in shape. Currently we only supply chenier and tube in Sterling Silver (maximum length 250 mm). |  |
