More than 90 years of experience manufacturing precious metal products ensures Morris and Watson offer the largest variety of raw, semi-finished and finished products in Australasia.

All fabricated metal alloys are developed and perfected by inhouse chemists and production experts to ensure the quality of fabricated materials is maintained.

Owing to the onsite refinery and Morris and Watson’s continued commitment to maintaining positive environmental practices, the majority of precious metals used to produce fabricated products have been recovered by refining recycled metal.

All batches are assayed for complete confidence.

  • Palladium content 17% approx.
  • Platinum content 4% approx.
  • Nickel free
  • Silvery grey colour
  • No base metals
  • Excellent colour
  • Scrap re-melts well, even repeatedly
  • Polishes well
  • Has superb wearing characteristics
  • Recommended for high quality hand making and setting.

10WN - 10ct White

  • General purpose alloy
  • Nickel free
  • Good silvery grey colour
  • Easy to set
  • Scrap re-melts easily
  • Polishes well
  • Has reasonable wearing characteristics

14WH - 14ct White (Pall/Plat)

  • Nickel free
  • Contains palladium and platinum
  • Low base metal content 1% approx.
  • Excellent colour
  • Does not discolour or lose polish after heating
  • Sets well
  • Scrap re-melts well
  • Polishes well
  • Has superb wearing characteristics
  • Recommended for high quality hand making and setting

18WMHC - 18ct White

  • General purpose alloy
  • Palladium content 10% approx.
  • Nickel free
  • Excellent colour
  • Sets well
  • Scrap re-melts well, even repeatedly
  • Has good wearing characteristics
  • Harder wearing than 18WP
  • Recommended for quality hand making

18WP - 18ct White

  • Palladium content 14% approx.
  • Nickel free
  • Low base metal 5.4% approx.
  • Excellent colour
  • Sets well
  • Scrap re-melts well, even repeatedly
  • Polishes well
  • Has good wearing characteristics
  • Recommended for quality hand making

18WH - 18ct White (Pall/Plat)

  • Nickle Free
  • Palladium content 17% approx.
  • Platinum content 3% approx.
  • No base metals
  • Excellent colour, will not require rhodium plating
  • Will not discolour or lose polish after heating
  • Sets well
  • Scrap re-melts well, but not as easy as 18WP
  • Polished very well
  • Has superb wearing characteristics
  • Recommended for high quality hand making and setting

95PT - Platinum Copper

  • General purpose alloy
  • Platinum content 95%
  • Great for setting
  • Scrap re-melts very well
  • Polishes very well
  • Has superb wearing characteristics
  • Use with complete confidence for high quality hand makes

95PTR - Platinum Ruthenium

  • Platinum content 95%
  • Whiter than PT95
  • Scrap re-melts very well
  • Polishes very well
  • Has superb wearing characteristics
  • Harder than PT95
  • Higher melting temperature than PT95
  • Suitable for very high-quality hand making and setting

PDG95 - Palladium Copper

  • General purpose alloy
  • Palladium content 95%
  • Softer than 95% Platinum, however very similar in colour
  • Nickel free
  • Sets well
  • Polishes well
  • Solders well
